The May exhibit in the Gallery at University City Public Library, 6701 Delmar Blvd., will feature watercolor paintings and graphite illustrations by local artist William Curtis.

Titled “Cruising: Classic Style,” the exhibit allows Curtis to share his nearly 50-year fascination with classic cars.

A reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 3. The work will be on display May 2-30 and may be viewed during normal library hours: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The library will be closed Sunday, May 12, for Mother’s Day and Monday, May 27, for Memorial Day.
