The Webster Groves Police Department’s briefing area will get a much-needed facelift, thanks to a grant from Home Depot and some volunteer labor from the firm’s employees.

Police Chief Dale Curtis said Home Depot offers community service project grants, and that the police department was a $5,000 recipient of a grant.

Home Depot volunteer employees are tentatively set to arrive at the police station on June 12 to provide new chairs and tables and install new flooring and counters. Curtis said a new TV may replace a dry erase board in the briefing area.
