On Wednesday, May 20, St. Joseph’s Academy faculty, staff, former faculty, family, neighbors and friends came together for a surprise police and fire truck-led parade for Glendale resident LuAnn Worrall.

After 30 years in the English Department, Worrall is retiring from St. Joseph’s Academy. She has been a beloved member of the St. Joseph’s Academy as an educator and parent of alumnae. The surprise parade took place in lieu of St. Joseph’s Academy’s traditional retirement celebration.

Worrall’s husband arranged for a Glendale police car escort to lead the parade. Vicki Bohn Rosenkoetter '64 and her husband Kert drove a vintage firetruck in the parade.
