Bulte, Raymond Henry Jr., 85, passed away peacefully at the home of his daughter on March 3, 2019.
Ray was born to Raymond Sr. and Minnette (nee Sullivan) on Oct. 10, 1933, in St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated from St. Louis University High School (1951), served in the U.S. Army (1952-54), and earned a finance degree from St. Louis University (1958). He married Joyce (nee Till) in 1962. Ray founded Gabriel Associates in 1976, which evolved into The Bulte Company.
Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce, of 53 years. He leaves as his legacy: Ray III (Mary Beth), Carolyn (Ron) Riggle, Lisa (Bill) Peters and David (Sarah). He was the grandfather to Madeleine, Caitlyn, Melissa, Alexandra, Sarah, Willow, Raymond IV, Chloe and Beckett; loving brother to Don, Susan Geraghty and the late Joan Pfeiffer. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family.
He enjoyed jazz, playing golf, dancing, attending his grandkids’ events and sunny Florida. Ray was a friend to all. His smile and positive spirit were infectious; he will be truly missed.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, or a charity of your choice.
A memorial Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 6, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 17 Joy Ave., Webster Groves, Missouri, 63119.
