St. Louis’ most renowned chefs, wine distributors and local breweries will join together for the 2018 I Heart Food and Wine fundraiser at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, 100 Carondelet Plaza, on Sunday, Nov. 4, from 3 to 6 p.m.
The fundraiser will be a culinary and beverage tasting event benefiting the Ollie Hinkle Heart Foundation. The event will feature food from more than 25 of St. Louis’ top restaurants and over 250 fine wines and award-winning beers.
What began as a single event in honor of Ollie Hinkle, a 1-year old who lost his battle with congenital heart defects, has become a rapidly growing nonprofit. The Ollie Hinkle Heart Foundation is dedicated to fighting congenital heart defects and supporting and strengthening families throughout the St. Louis region and beyond.
Founded by Ollie’s parents Jenn and Mark Hinkle, co-owners of Webster’s Olive and Oak and The Clover and the Bee restaurants, the Ollie Hinkle Heart Foundation offers year-round programming and fundraising initiatives that provide support and services to families, funding for pediatric heart research and education on congenital heart defects.
I Heart Food and Wine provides a fun and delicious afternoon of eating and drinking for an important cause: fighting congenital heart defects and supporting area heart families.
Tickets for the event can be purchased on the Ollie Hinkle Heart Foundation’s website at www.theohhf.com.
