Linda Nance, former Webster Groves Board of Education member, has written about her unique connection to Martin Luther King Jr. in a recent Oasis blog post.

As a child, she heard many conversations about “a bright young man" from her uncle, who was dean of philosophy at Morehouse College in Atlanta, and had King as a student.

Nance is president of the Annie Malone Historical Society and co-founded the Call to Conscience Readers Theatre Group. She is a published author and an OASIS instructor.
