Debbie and Scott Stream of Kirkwood announce the engagement of their son, Andrew Stream, to Ashley Cox, daughter of Carrie Cacciatore and Darren Cox of Arnold. Both are graduates of University of Missouri-Columbia. The future groom received a bachelor of science and master of accountancy and is vice president of finance at PT&C|LWG Forensic Consulting Services. His fiancée received a bachelor of science in education: language arts (9-12) and is a client care manager at Jameson Sotheby's International Realty. The couple lives in Chicago, Ill. The couple plans to be married Sept. 30, 2016, in Defiance, Mo.

Bob and Carolyn Belden of Kirkwood celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 18 in Kansas City, Mo., with friends, Jerry and Ann Brekke from Maryville. Ann Brekke was the maid of honor in their wedding in 1966 at Memorial Baptist Church in Jefferson City. Bob and Carolyn (nee Farmer) have resided in Kirkwood for 44 years. Bob Belden had a 38-year career at Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum; Carolyn had 27 years of service at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.

Kirkwood resident Erin Andrade recently graduated from Tulane University's School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine with a master of public health and the School of Medicine with a doctor of medicine. Charles Hurth of Webster Groves graduated from the School of Science and Engineering with a master of science; and Peter Reitz of Webster Groves graduated from the School of Science and Engineering with a bachelor of science.

Autumn Daras, an incoming first grader at Westchester Elementary School in Kirkwood, was named first runner up for the state of Missouri in the National American Miss (NAM) Missouri State Pageant in Columbia, Mo., June 24-26. She also claimed first place in casual wear modeling, third runner up in Top Model and first runner up in art contest. She is invited to the National American Miss National Pageant in California.

Sarah Abbit, a 2016 Kirkwood High School graduate, completed Boot Camp on June 9 for the United States Air Force. She is stationed in San Antonio Texas, at Lackland Air Force Base completing her technically training in security forces.

Jack Roettger, an incoming junior at Kirkwood High School, is one of 34 specially-selected students participating in the Summer Talent Academy for Professions in Health at Truman State University. The one-week program exposes students to coursework in health professions. He is the son of Paul and Leslie Roettger.

Benjamin Felix, 1998 Kirkwood High School graduate, was named group president/chief revenue officer of the Consumer Technology Publishing Group in Philadelphia, Pa. The position makes Felix the digital executive for the publishing company.

Alex Talir, an incoming freshman at Kirkwood High School, is a member of the Spreading the Love Youth Tour 2016 presented by the Show Me Arts Academy. The tour kicked off on July 2 at Fair St. Louis with stops in Washington, D.C.; Edison, N.J.; and New York City. The group consists of 20 young people between the ages of 10-19. These youth performers also engaged in service learning throughout the tour. The mission of Show Me Arts Academy is to provide a life-long appreciation for the arts.

A. J. Brefeld, an incoming eighth grader at Nipher Middle School in Kirkwood, is one of 425 specially-selected students nationwide participating in this summer's Joseph Baldwin Academy for Eminent Young Scholars at Truman State University. He elected to take the three-week course, Computer In Arts and Science. Brefeld is the son of Jim and Tina Brefeld.

Fred and Susan Burk of Kirkwood, who own a 1929 Model A Ford Huckster, were very proud to have their car in the Muny production of "The Music Man," July 5-11, as the Wells Fargo Delivery Truck. Fred has owned the "Fred's Folly" since 1961, and changed the Tudor into a Huckster (panel delivery truck). Fred is president of the Missouri Valley Region of the Model A Restorers Club.

Joseph T. Porter, Jr. of Webster Groves has joined Armstrong Teasdale LLP as a partner. He is a member of the firm's corporate services and financial and real estate services practice groups. Prior to joining the firm, he was a shareholder at another St. Louis-area firm where he chaired the banking practice group and served as vice chair of the corporate and transactional practice group.
