Volunteers from area churches gathered at the First Baptist Church of Meacham Park parking lot for the "This Is What Christ's Love Looks Like" drive-thru food giveaway on Wednesday, May 13.

During the event, volunteers handed out nearly 13,000 pounds of fresh produce from the St. Louis Area Food Bank, 9,000 pounds of pre-boxed non-perishable food items from Kirk Care and over 200 loaves of Great Harvest bread to those in need during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Over 180 families representing 580 household members and 210 children were given food.
