For the fifth year, Christmas in Crestwood is lighting up the city with color and cheer during the holidays.
Festivities will kick off on Saturday, Dec. 1, with the arrival of Santa Claus via fire truck. He will make his grand entrance at 11:30 a.m. at Crestwood City Hall, located at 1 Detjen Drive. The first 200 kids on hand to greet Santa will receive a goody bag. Activities will include photos with Santa, firehouse tours, furry friends to pet and adopt, cookies and holiday music.
This year pre-paid photo packages are required and can be ordered online at https://goo.gl/forms/0BLNIJdHBe6sgQkm1. Photo packages benefit Toys for School Kids. New toys and nonperishable food items will be collected for Toys for School Kids and Prince of Peace Food Pantry.
