From Barbie to Atari, toys don’t just reflect a nostalgia for days gone by. They also represent changes in culture, advances in technology, and transitions in how we view childhood. This talk shows the many familiar toys of the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s that speak to these various themes.

Presented by Sharon Smith, Curator of Civic and Personal Identity from the Missouri History Museum.
