Everyone can care for our planet! This conference highlights the specific call Pope Francis outlines in his 2015 encyclical, Laudato Si': On Care for our Common Home. Inspirational guidance will be provided by Dr. Ed Biersmith, a trained ambassador of the climate change issue by Catholic Climate Covenant. He will enlighten us on what the Catholic Church teaches about climate change and environmental issues. A panel of religious environmental advocates will help you understand how climate change impacts poor communities and will encourage you to begin making positive changes in your community. A panel of high school activists will outline how changes can be made in schools. We hope you can join us!
