This coming Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, at 10 a.m., Soldiers Memorial Military Museum will host its first Memorial Day ceremony since the building reopened in November 2018, following a 3-year, $30 million renovations.

At the Memorial Day Flag and Remembrance Ceremony, the names of the 554 St. Louisans who lost their lives as a result of recent conflicts and whose names will soon be engraved on new memorials in the Court of Honor will be announced. The engraving will take place over the summer and the new memorials will be officially unveiled at a ceremony during Veterans Day Week in Nov. 2019.
