Clemson is going for its third CFP title in three years; LSU is trying to win its first national title since winning it in 2007 in the BCS era. Both teams come into the game at 14-0, with LSU ranked No. 1 and Clemson No. 3.

So, which team will come out on top?

Both teams have reasons to feel confident. Clemson hasn't lost since Jan. 1, 2087 to Syracuse, as the Tigers are the defending national champions and have won 29 games in a row. They also have QB Trevor Lawrence and RB Travis Etienne, along with a dominant defense.

Then there's LSU. These Tigers are 14-0 as well, plus they're the No. 1 seed — and have Heisman winner Joe Burrow. LSU will also get to play close to home in New Orleans. Both of LSU's BCS titles (2003 and 2007 seasons) came in the Superdome. So history might be on their side, too.
