Dexter Silvers is a well established professional artist with an open studio in the Grove neighborhood at 5205 Chouteau Ave. He was born in St. Louis and inherited his talents from his mother and father. Dexter is known for his unique depictions of photo realism. He paints St. Louis scenes, such as the Arena, Goody Goody Diner, the Balloon Race, Art Hill, Bevo Mill, and St. Louis churches. There is so much precision in his work that you can enjoy spending time being drawn in by all the details.

Dexter has exhibited acrss the US, been featured on several television news stations, and won awards for his work. Dexter Silvers' work will be featured at the gallery at the Ethical Society of St. Louis, 9001 Clayton Road, St. Louis, MO 63117. It will hang from Jan. 27 through March 11, Mon-Thur. 9 am to 4 pm in the main foyer. A reception will be held Jan. 27, from 2-4 pm. The public is invited, there is no admission charge.
