Sitting Bull S**t: The Quiet History and Persecution of the Native American by St. Louis artist Craig Norton opens with a free reception on Friday, Feb. 22,  6 to 8 p.m., at Fontbonne University's Gallery of Art, Fine Arts Building, 6800 Wydown Blvd. in Clayton. Norton hopes to evoke curiosity in discovering the truth about the history of Native Americans. Fre and open to the public. Exhibit on display through March 15. 

Norton’s art consists of pen drawings, paints and mixed media collages. His previous work has been featured in galleries in New York City, Chicago, Seattle, Miami and elsewhere.
